He has given me, and people who I am with, more freedom and aliveness. David has opened me up to the possibility of encouraging others to be fully self expressed, and freed me from the need to control and restrict others (and my own) self expression. I enjoy his books, and his website Before I saw David Deida, I was unwilling to accept when a woman was upset crying or yelling and screaming. I watched David coaching people to become able to be totally present and supportive with their partner when their partner is upset. As a result, I often receive heartfelt thanks and acknowledgement from people for being a supportive friend. I enjoy reading the books he has written.
