I read the book "Your Soul Purpose". I discovered that much of the advice and assistance that my friends, relatives and professional advisers were giving to me about my choice of career was very different from what I really wanted for myself in my life. I chose to participate in the Brendan Nichols Seminar on the 30 Aug -1 September 2002. I got to discover what I can do to follow my choice of career, and really enjoyed the three days. I saw that I could go back to doing electronic service, which is a comfortable, predictable but unfulfilling career for me. However I also saw that in the longer term, I wanted to do something that I find more fulfilling. I am enjoying writing, maintaining some websites, and learning counselling skills. While I still do electronics work, I am creating a future for myself where I have more career choices. |
