3 Dimensional Geometric Solids Going beyond the Tetrahedron
I was amazed to see the completed model of 10 interlocking tetrahedrons. I found the way each facet of this geometric solid was painted a different colour made it easy and fun to identify the individual tetrahedrons. Ken had his own web site. www.3dmandalas.com

| Over several weeks I watched Ken designing this incredible cardboard model. It is made from lots of pieces of cardboard. I was surprised that this complex looking geometric solid can be simplified to only 2 different cut out shapes. These were assembled and each of the faces was painted in colours to show which of the 10 interlocking tetrahedrons it belongs to. Some areas of some faces share two tetrahedrons and they have been painted with crosshatched pattern of the colours for each tetrahedron. | |
