I looked at the bill from my internet service provider early that morning.

I was shocked to see what the total amount was.

I thought "It should not be this much"

I looked at the bill and saw that the plan that I was on was not changed to a plan that suited my different usage pattern on the day that I wanted it to be changed.

I was tempted to blame the service provider, but realised that I must have made a mistake in the way I entered the changes via the internet.

Later, I was speaking to one of the service provider's telephone operators about another matter, and at the end of the conversation was asked "Is there was anything else that I can assist you with."

I paused briefly and said "Yes, there is."

I explained my problem of internet charges to her. She remained courteous and friendly, and she checked the details and adjusted the account.

I feel so moved by that woman's commitment to service that she is one of the stars.

I find her to be inspirational. I Thank her.
