Landmark Education
Peter Pullar International |
Landmark Education presents the Landmark Forum, and a number of other
programs. The Landmark Forum is the main program that Landmark Education presents. I was invited by a friend to attended an introduction to the Forum more than 14 years ago. (The program has since been renamed the Landmark Forum.) My friend truly believed that I would get a lot from the program, and told me when and where the next introduction to the program was scheduled. I attended that introduction. I was surprised to find the assistants so warmly and genuinely welcoming me and directing me to the crowded room where the introduction was just about to commence. I then heard some of the participants sharing their experience of the Forum, and became very interested as several people shared about the breakthroughs they had had in their relationship with their parents. I wanted to improve the quality of my communication with my mother. I thought that if they got that much from the program, then I had a chance of at least some of that for myself. I registered into the Forum and wondered what it was going to be like. It seemed like a lot of hours, yet it would be worth it if I got even part of what some of these people got from their participation. See my experience of the The Landmark Forum Since then, I moved to Brisbane, and there were no Landmark programs run there at the time. A few years later I moved to Sydney. I participated in other programs - especially the Landmark Assisting program, which gave me a breakthrough in personal productivity. I saw where I could be more effective by communicating how long I would take to perform tasks, reporting when they were completed, or if they were going to take longer than I said. I already knew that in theory, however I really got to understand it in practice in the Landmark assisting program. I also enjoyed the opportunity to work as part of a team that is committed to making a difference to people, as well as to myself. I returned to Melbourne, and have reviewed the Landmark Forum. The program has been revised, and I found it to be a refreshing improvement to the Landmark Forum when I originally participated. I have particularly enjoyed hearing what some of my family and friends have got from their participation in the program. I have also got much value for myself as well as the joy of being part of a team that makes such a difference in the lives of the participants and their families from participating more in the assisting program. |
