Lesley Pullar

When I think of Lesley, I think of integrity. I think of her as a person who has high standards and is determined to do the right thing. I think about the conversations that I had with her in the last few years of her life. We got to understand each other very quickly then. I have grown a lot over the last few years myself, and have more of an idea of how life may have been for her.  I miss the opportunity to speak with her since she died. If I were to speak to her now, I would have more compassion for her. I think she would have liked me, her oldest child, to be as compassionate as her father Eric. I certainly did not always demonstrate that quality when Lesley was alive. I think she missed that of me.

Lesley being very alive

Her favourite poem was "If" written by Rudyard Kipling

As I look back at what I remember of her life, I can see how she was inspired by that great poem.

Lesley missed her father Eric
