I am enjoying studying about relationships. Having learned about the consequences that of my lack of awareness has had on my relationships with family, friends and workmates, I am happy to become more aware.

I particularly appreciate the feedback that I receive these days. It seems more honest, and I am enjoying it as well as finding it challenging at times.

In my studying I have come across many books that were to me as much of a hindrance as they were of assistance to me, however I have found some books that I would be willing to recommend

I have read the book “People Skills” by Jim Bolton again, to further improve my ability to communicate with people, and be more of a support to them. I first used the book when I was training to become a telephone counseller for Lifeline a few years ago, though I did not qualify to become a telephone counseller. I have always found the book “People Skills” to be particularly useful to me for improving my relationships with people in my life. I have received thanks from others for my willingness to listen as I apply what I read in the book.

I recommend the eharmony questionnaire to find out more about yourself and clarify what you really want in a partner.

You can do it right now, and the results are available immediately that you have completed it. It is thorough, and will take half an hour or so to complete fully.
Tip - if you are taking a long time to fill in a page, click on the box at the bottom of the page even though you have not completed it. That way it will not time out. You will then avoid losing all the information you have already typed into the page. The page will be presented to you again for you to fill in the remaining details.
